Co-Founder
Paula Ishtar is the co-founder and Director of Earth Moves Cooperative, an environmentalist, dancer, and creative. With a background in psychology and permaculture, she is passionate about transforming land and lives through creativity, connection to nature, social inclusion, and community action.

Afrograph
An artist with Afrograph has contributed to Earth Moves since its beginnings. She brings creativity, cultural heritage, and lived experience to collaborative workshops, encouraging artistic expression, storytelling, and intercultural understanding within the community. Artist
Tony O'Connell
Toc is a queer socialist artist whose concerns combine political and spiritual languages. His work often subverts and reclaims religious and mythic imagery to describe the experience of spiritual violence and dis-empowerment done to LGBTQ people by hierarchies.
His Imagery has been influenced by his Irish Catholic upbringing, his pagan chosen family and his Buddhist teachers. Liverpool Independent Art School.

Artist
Lo Tierney is a community, queer autistic artist whose creative work brings projects to life through bold, welcoming and imaginative designs. Their handcrafted signage and artistic contributions help create a strong sense of identity, celebration and place within community spaces.

Art therapist
Molly
Molly is an Art Therapist who uses creative practice to support wellbeing, self-expression and connection. Through inclusive workshops, she encourages people of all ages and abilities to explore creativity as a pathway to confidence, healing and community.

Molly, an HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist. Molly is an HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist. She has predominantly worked with vulnerable young people in the care system. She has also worked within LGBTQ+ teams with young people exploring gender identity through art.

Molly sees art as a way to access parts of ourselves that would otherwise be difficult to illuminate.

Co-founder
Peter Rix is a permaculture advocate and environmental educator with many years of experience in sustainable land management. With a background in heritage, arts, film, and media, he enjoys helping people come together and share their views collaboratively in these fields. He supports community growing, ecological design and practical conservation, helping people develop the skills and confidence to care for the natural world.

Disability Lead
Tina Buckley
Tina Buckley is a community volunteer and creative contributor who supports Earth Moves through practical activities, events and collaborative projects. She enjoys helping create welcoming spaces where people can connect with nature, develop new skills and build friendships through shared experiences. Tina is a recovery consultant as well as a disability and inclusion expert.

She has recently begun an arts practice drawing on lived experiences.

Culture Exchange
Artist and Manager of CulturEx, calligrapher, and cultural storyteller originally from Jiangsu, China. He treats calligraphy as a practice of breath and focus, guiding others to use the brush to release stress and find inner peace.

Artist
A nerdy and camp and proudly Northern mixed media artist. Hannah mixes art, dance, sculpture, mycorrhizal networks while wearing eco-glitter.
