Earth Moves

Golden lady
(2005)
A striking seven-foot-tall Art Deco-inspired goddess sculpture, handcrafted in fibreglass and finished in radiant metallic gold. The figure combines the elegance and glamour of the Art Deco movement with a timeless nature goddess, creating a dramatic and iconic addition to Earth Moves Gardens.

The artist, Giuliano, was born in Italy before establishing his studio in Kilburn, London, where he produced a number of large-scale sculptural works. Later in life, he emigrated to Argentina, where he continued his artistic practice until his death ten years ago.

This monumental sculpture reflects Giuliano's distinctive approach to figurative art, celebrating feminine strength, beauty, and classical form through contemporary materials.

It was saved from a house clearance and was due to be destroyed. Kindly donated and shipped from London to our community garden in 2022.

Donated by L D Williams.
