Art therapist Molly led the session with the community. This transformed compost bin is more than a functional object—it is a celebration of creativity, ecology and hope. Through collage, colour, and shared imagination, an everyday vessel has become a symbol of nature's extraordinary cycles.

Compost is one of nature's greatest teachers. It reminds us that nothing is truly wasted. Fallen leaves, food waste, discarded plants and organic matter are transformed into rich soil that nourishes new life. This mirrors how people, communities and landscapes all have the capacity for renewal, growth and regeneration.

Each contribution tells a story. Every hand that placed a piece of collage onto its surface became part of a larger creative conversation; the artwork embodies the values of Earth Moves—community, inclusion, biodiversity, imagination and care for the living world.

The compost bin stands as a reminder that transformation is both an ecological and a human process. As materials break down to create fertile ground, so too can experiences, challenges and change become the foundations for resilience, wisdom and new beginnings.
